About Me

Hi!

My name is Becky. This little snippet is a bit about me and my photography adventures. Hopefully this will make it like we will be as if we have known each other the first time we meet.

I grew up in a small town of CT. It seems I always had a camera in my hand, going back from the early age of 10 years old. Yes, it was film, and yes it was mostly disposables, or 35mm zoom point and shoot cameras. It wasn’t until high school I was introduced to my first SLR camera and digital editing (when digital cameras just came out… That made me feel old!).

I started my graphic design adventure as a senior in high school and eventually got my associates degree of science in graphic art and animation in 2008.

With over 20 years of photography and 10 years of digital editing under my belt, I have advanced throughout the years on multiple photography projects.

I have gone through many digital cameras from point and shoot, to my first SLR EOS Canon. I have since upgraded to one of the best Canon SLR EOS cameras and have added multiple high end lenses, more focus on portrait abilities. Of course, there is always better and more “wants” in life. However, the equipment I have, I love to pieces and look forward to growing the collection as time goes on.

I continue to take continued education online courses to better my techniques and try to keep things nice and fresh for every session I do. I have always done my own photography for my family as a hobby, and never really thought about producing images for profit. However, when you hear how happy you make a family by doing their family portraits, you want to continue to make families happy with a hobby you are passionate about.

I have been doing my boys’s photos since they were a newborn. There has never been a time that I have said “I have too many photos of my kids”. I have also done family weddings, special events and holiday gatherings. My passion however, continues to focus more on portraits and providing families with great memories that they can cherish for a life time.
